Baptizm

Today Nate, Cliff, and I were baptized. It was such a great day. I had never been baptized and felt like now was the time to do it. We all wanted to make a public statement of our faith and to let everyone know that we have asked Jesus to forgive us of our sins and to come into our hearts. It was so awesome to have the boys do this with me today. There were 13 of us at CWC to be baptized. That was the biggest group that Todd has ever had to date.

13 is a significant number at our house since Nate, Cliff, and I all share a August 13th birthday and their biological father signed relinquishment papers on the 13th of December. So we think that it is cool that we were in a group of 13 today.

The pictures taken on my camera today were really dark, so pictures will follow as soon as my brother-in-law emails his to me.

Mouse Update

The missing mouse trap has been found. Josh went and looked under stuff in the basement and found it under a coffee table. It did have a mouse in it. He was a determined little bugger! I have not seen any more mice since then. The poison seems to have worked. Hopefully I don't find dead ones in my stuff later. I am so thankful for my boys and their help with checking traps and emptying traps. Thanks guys!

Pirates!

The boys both played pirates in the Pirates of the i don't care ibean this weekend. All of the kids did an awesome job. I am proud of you!

Halloween in April?

Nate & Cliff have been hounding me since January to order their Halloween costumes. No amount of talking could persuade them that it was to early for that. I finally broke down and ordered them with the understanding that they could try them on when they came in and then they are put away until October 31. So, Boa Boa Fett and Darth Vader will be out again in October.

NO I don't want to go boating!

Ryan seems less than enthused about his life jacket. Grandma and Grandpa Taylor recently purchased a ski boat and the whole family is very excited about trying it out. (Except Ryan...LOL) By the way, the life jacket does fit.

Spring program

Nate and Cliff wanted to be dressed like "cowboys" for their spring program. Aren't they cute? This Sunday, May 4th they are in a musical production at church. They both play pirates in "The Pirates of the I don't Care ibean" It sounds cute. It starts at 10:45 MT at the Crossroads Wesleyan Church if you would like to attend, we would love to have you.
