Class Reunion

On Saturday we had a reunion picnic at the Savory Museum. The kids played outside and the parents visited and got caught up on the news. Thanks Sarah and Danielle for organizing the weekend.

Wyoming Trip

This is the view from Bill and Nancy Wiggins' front yard. They were kind enough to let us stay with them and watch the kids on Friday night while we went to Josh's 10 year class reunion. (Thank you so much!) The mountain in the back is Bakers Peak. Clifton wants to go up to the top.

Baby beavers we watched in the Little Snake River. Grandpa Taylor says they are over grown rats, but we had fun watching them anyway.

Josh and the boys in the BLM pasture. Ryan slept through this portion of the trip so we let him.

Beans!!!

Ryan is eating solid food now. We started with rice cereal and have now added green beans and a few bananas.

This is what happens after Ryan eats dinner. He love water so this is his favorite time of the day, but when you take him out it is time for some milk and bed. The sooner the better!

Black eye

Nate loves to hunt and shoot. When Mom was having her family reunion the boys convinced Grandpa to take them out to shoot. Here is what Nate looked like when he came back in.

Birthday party!

Wow! What a busy week. We went as a family to the Combine Derby in Ogallala on Wednesday night as a Birthday present from Grandma Taylor. Josh and I had date night on Friday night to the concert at Ogallala (thanks for the tickets Derek!) Then on Saturday we took Nate and his friend Chris and Cliff and his friend Nathan to North Platte to the Rec Center. They went swimming, went down the water slide, jumped off the high dive, and played water basket ball. Then we checked out the game room. Ping pong didn't go so well, but they had a ball playing Foos ball. After the Rec center we had a meal at McDonald's and headed for Ogallala to the carnival. Mom and Dad were exhausted, but the kids had a great time. (I think it might be easier to have 10 nine year olds at our house for a couple of hours than to take 4 of them all day. They were really good though.) Nate & Cliff's birthday is actually tomorrow, but we are trying to focus more on memories and less on stuff, so we ran ourselves ragged making memories.

Nap time at Grandma's

Ryan had to take a nap during all of the excitement at Grandma Ferguson's house. Check out the beautiful quilt that she made him. It has cowboy hats, handkerchiefs, stars, and horse shoes. The blue diaper is pretty neat too!

Baby Lennox

We had a Day family reunion at my parents' house a week ago. We got to meet the new baby of the family. My cousin Josh's son, Lennox. His Grandma Charlene is pretty proud also!

Ryan cuddles

Ryan has gotten to cuddle and be held by a lot of people in the last 10 days. Here are some pictures:

Grandpa and Ryan

Anna, Ryan, and Grandma Great Day

Ryan and Liddy - Ryan was ready for a nap, so he wasn't very fun for Liddy at this point.

Ryan & Uncle Bob - He hasn't got to spend as much time with Uncle Bob as his brothers did when they were little, so every visit is precious.

Ryan & Grandpa Great Ferguson - This is special too!
Best buddies! Cliff and Ryan spend a lot of time playing together.
